How to Upload Your Emoji

Upload to Slack
Add your custom emoji to any Slack workspace in under a minute.
📋 Requirements: You need to be a workspace admin or have permission to add custom emoji.
Open Slack Settings
Click on your workspace name in the top left corner, then select "Settings & administration" → "Customize [workspace name]"
💡 Tip: You can also go directly to your workspace URL + /customize/emoji (e.g., yourteam.slack.com/customize/emoji)
Click "Add Custom Emoji"
On the Customize page, click the green "Add Custom Emoji" button in the top right.
Upload Your Emoji
Click "Upload Image" and select the emoji file you downloaded from createmoji.ai. Images should be square and under 128KB.

Name Your Emoji

💡 Tip: Keep names short and memorable. Use underscores instead of spaces.
Save and Use!
Click "Save" and your emoji is ready! Type :emoji_name: in any message to use it.
💡 Tip: Your new emoji will appear in the emoji picker under the custom section.
That's it! You're done!
Your custom emoji is now ready to use. Time to make your team chat more fun!
